Developed Waterford Crystal’s « Artists in Residency » program – Liaison between
Waterford Crystal and Collaborating artists : Dale Chihuly, Dan Dailey, Richard Royal, Richard Marquis, ans Hiroshi Yamano. Oversight of project mission, schedule, and waterford factory needs for artists.
Developed and coordinated traveling exhibition of artist’s work in United States.
Chihuly Studio – Seattle Washington
Studio Manager – Dale Chihuly glass blowing studio, 1990 to 1996
Direct Liaison between Dale Chihuly and Team, responsible for daily interpretation of Chihuly’s Artistic vision for glass blowing projects.
Managed team of over 30 full-time artists blowing at the studio, personnel, scheduling, contract negotiations, coordinating visiting artists.
Facility management/maintenance needs, negotiated supplier/contractors contracts, oversight of expenses for studio, negotiated barters/trades for studio and chihuly.
Head gaffer/Glass Blowing Team leader for Persian, Seaform, and basket series. Worked with Italian Glass Masters Lino Tagliapietra and Pino Signoretto on Venetian series.
Project manager – Chihuly Over Venice : Developed relationships with International studios in Finland, Ireland, Mexico, Japan and France, and managed glass blowing needs at each venue.
Coordinated equipment and supply needs for each blow, oversight of staffing, travel, costs, and artistic mission as directed by chihuly.
